Research Seminars
E-Resource Training
IU Library coordinates training seminars for students on research skills relating to electronic resources. The training basically provides students with general knowledge about key scholarly databases relevant to their program, skills on how to navigate academic journals as well as how to evaluate information sources.
Interested lecturers/faculty, who wish to improve their students' research capacity, could contact us for coordinating the seminar. Please talk to our e-resource librarian at the LibQuest Desk for further details.
Usage Promotion
During the year, we also look for opportunities for organizing events to introduce our resources to library patrons. This often happens in the form of a presentation together with the provision of handouts, manuals, user-guides, and relevant registration forms for e-resources.
