First Zotero trainings launched - ISE
IU Library has launched its first citation management trainings by organizing two training workshops for senior students who enrolled in the Scientific Writing subject of ISE Department. The workshops, conducted in Lab1.301 on 6 March, attracted over 70 participants.
The citation management tool introduced is Zotero, a free tool that has been used widely in research communities around the World. Apart from its key functions in helping researchers manage citation automatically, the software also has extensions for supporting professional research.
After the trainings, participants are able to use Zotero's primary functions together with basic Harvard referencing style. Those who participated in the trainings have developed a very fundamental skill for future research.
